A former member of acclaimed duo The Lost Brothers, Leech began his solo career with Cold Sea in 2024, which received widespread critical acclaim and appeared on Albums of the Year lists from BBC 6 Music, MOJO, Uncut, The Irish Times and Hot Press.

Recorded over five days in a sea-facing schoolhouse on the northern tip of Donegal, Cold Sea was produced by Brooklyn musician Steve Gunn. The album features contributions from Dónal Lunny, M. Ward, Bob Dylan’s longtime bassist Tony Garnier and Donegal fiddle player Róisín McGrory.

Since debuting Cold Sea, Leech has performed at Glastonbury Festival and toured internationally, sharing stages with artists including Tindersticks, Vashti Bunyan, Richard Hawley, Ron Sexsmith, Lisa O’Neill and Gaz Coombes.
