Film Synopsis | Lucy (Dakota Johnson) is a New York City matchmaker who pairs up potential mates based on criteria such as height, age, and, crucially, finances. Her philosophy is challenged by Harry (Pedro Pascal), a wealthy stranger she meets at a wedding, and the surprise return of her ex-boyfriend John (Chris Evans), a struggling actor. Though she deals in matters of the heart, Lucy herself remains detached, her cynicism sharpened by a past of emotional disappointments and her determination to control her own financial and romantic fate.
