How did our ancestors get through cold, dark winters? What can we learn from the epic stories of Ireland’s past about how to keep the spirits up when the energy is low? Join us for an evening of myth, music and poetry to light the way through the dark of winter.
With Cork County Writer in Residence Leeanne O’Donnell, storyteller and artist Pol Ó Colmáin, spoken word poet Julie Goo and music from Amhlaoibh McSweeney and Bobby Wolfe of Leevy, we’ll be exploring myths, telling you stories and filling up the room with inspirational music and poetry. We’ll be discussing how tuning into ancient seasonal rhythms helped our ancestors and could help us now.
This is a FREE event, but booking is essential.
