Louise Morrissey is a multi-award winning artist, admired and respected as one of Ireland's greatest country singers and performers. Throughout her career, she has toured with country legends such at Charley Pride, Emmy-Lou Harris, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson, to name but a few. Known and much loved throughout Ireland, the UK and the US, Louise has entertained audiences and received numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious European Country Music Gold Star Award.
This special performance at Briery Gap follows Louise’s hugely successful nationwide tour last year that celebrated her 35th anniversary in country music. Louise will be performing many of her much loved songs, such as Tipperary On My Mind, Slievenamon, September Sky, Circles, Katie Daly, I Couldn’t Leave You If I Tried, All Around My Hat and many more.
Special guest on the night will be Marty Daniels, a great country singer and excellent interpreter of the old country classics. Marty has two highly acclaimed albums to his name, Marty will get those feet tapping with a selection of country favourites.
