Two distinctive voices from opposite sides of the Atlantic come together for a unique co-headline performance at Briery Gap.
New York-based songwriter and guitarist Paul Spring has built a reputation for fearless musical exploration, blending folk, classical, electronic and pop influences across a prolific catalogue of acclaimed releases. Praised for his inventive songwriting and virtuosic guitar work, Spring's music has been described as both deeply personal and refreshingly original, earning recognition from outlets including MPR, The Irish Times and Aquarium Drunkard.
Joining him is Macdara Ó Faoláin, one of the most exciting young talents in Irish traditional music. Hailing from An Rinn, Co. Waterford, Macdara is an award-winning bouzouki player, fiddler and singer whose distinctive musicianship has earned him TG4's Young Musician of the Year title and nominations from both the RTÉ Folk Awards and Nós. His acclaimed debut album, Ar Thaobh Chill an Fhuarthainn, has established him as a rising force in contemporary Irish folk music.
Together, these two exceptional artists promise an evening of masterful musicianship, rich storytelling and genre-crossing performances, bringing American folk innovation and Irish traditional artistry into captivating conversation.
