Celebrating 25 years of exceptional ensemble singing, White Raven has earned international praise for its distinctive a cappella sound, described by critics as “voices of purest gold” and lauded for bringing “another dimension” to vocal performance.
Founded in 2001 by Macroom native Kathleen Dineen, the trio combines Irish traditional song with influences from Scottish and medieval music, creating rich harmonies that honour the beauty and authenticity of the original melodies.
For this special performance, Kathleen Dineen (soprano), Matthias Deger (tenor), and Mathias Spoerry (baritone) are joined by legendary Dundalk fiddler Gerry O’Connor, one of Ireland’s most celebrated traditional musicians. Together, they will present an enchanting programme of traditional songs and tunes, woven with stories and musical heritage that span generations.
White Raven has performed at leading festivals across Europe, including Kilkenny Arts Festival, Cork International Choral Festival, Stimmen Festival, and Birmingham Early Music Festival, and has been featured on RTÉ Lyric FM and other international broadcasts.
Whether you are a lover of traditional music, exquisite vocal harmony, or Irish cultural heritage, this promises to be a memorable evening in the company of four outstanding musicians.
