The Last Showgirl sees Pamela Anderson mounting an extraordinary comeback performance as Shelly, a Las Vegas dancer who is left adrift after the revue show she has been performing in for 30 years is suddenly closed by stage manager Eddie (Dave Bautista). Emotionally floundering, Shelley strives to repair her strained relationship with her daughter, who often took a backseat to her showgirl family, which proves almost as difficult as losing the only job she ever had. Shelley takes some solace in her close friendship with brash cocktail waitress Annette (Jamie Lee Curtis), yet she is all too aware that the Razzle Dazzle Show is the last of its kind on the strip, and that younger performers are prepared to bare all and are less committed to the craft she considers an art form.
